Using Barkston decking for boardwalks and walkway constructions has many benefits over traditional timber alternatives. It has a far lower whole life cost, is labour saving and particularly suited for use in wet and harsh environments. Barkston does not require treating with preservatives and will not leech any harmful chemicals into the earth or waterway.

Barkston decking and profiles work extremely well for pontoon constructions. These specialised products ensure a long lasting cost effective alternative to conventional floating pontoons. Barkston can be worked in a similar manner to timber allowing essential marine fittings such as bollards, cleats and eyes to be used and attached using trusted techniques Barkston material provides the ideal solution for staging, fishing pegs/platforms and jetties.
