Opened a plastics fabrication company called Skyrack Technical Plastics, later
to become Barkston Plastics Engineering Ltd. Moved to purpose-built premises at
Holbeck. Came out of rubber market to concentrate solely on plastics, re-named the
company Barkston Plastics Ltd.
80's
Opened a branch in Hull. Achieved BS5750 accreditation. Invested in our first CNC machining equipment.
00's
Acquired the assets of two plastic fabrication companies Isocrylic Ltd and Plastech Ltd.
Opened a further branch in the North East.
Barkston Ltd. has been sold in a management buy-out. The buyout team was led by Managing Director Tim Kiernan, Commercial Director Steve Rock and Sales Director Roy Kitchman.
